Open call: From October 21th to October 24th of 2019.
Applicants may submit as many films as they wish, provided they have not been selected in other editions of this Contest.
To participate in the Contest, all the applicant give Gau Laburra Festival all rights necessary for the screening of the submitted films at this short-film festival.
Can take part fiction, animation, documentary or experimental short films.
Video clips or advertising works will not be accepted.
The films can be sound or silent and presented in any language. If the language is not one of the two officials of the contest (Basque and Spanish) it will be required that the work be sent with subtitles in one of this two languages.
If physical copies are being sent, the short films must be sent in DVD format (Compatible with standard DVD player), with a good resolution and sound.
There is the possibility of presenting the short films through the digital Clickforfestivals platform.

Both, the selection of the works and the program of screening will be made by a commission, which will previewsly watch all the short films submitted.
The jury will be formed by the audience attending to the screenings.
All the screening sesions will be in the Usurbe Antzokia of Beasain at December 27th of 2019.
GOIENIZ ZINEKLUBA will put all possible care at the screenings, but is not responsible for any incident that may occur during it.
No distinction will be made about the format of the films and all will compete on equal terms.
Each work selected for the Gau Laburra will be paid with € 40.
The trophy for the best short film will be delivered at the beginning of the first film at the January Cycle of Goieniz.
The works submitted to the contest will become part of the GOIENIZ ZINEKLUBA Videotheque. They will not be returned unless expressly requested by the author, who previously sends an envelope with prepaid postage.
